The Pulsair™ PPC mixes tanks, drums or totes from a centrally located controller which eliminates production bottlenecks. The lightweight hand-held mixers are easily moved from one container to another, reducing the need to move the containers to facilitate mixing.
Water based paint
A customer needed to mix 150 gallons of water-based paint with a powder additive however the powder clumped making mixing difficult and would normally take up to two hours to rectify. Pulsair™ dispersed the powder and blended the colour within 30 minutes.
Solvent based paint
A customer had to mix and blend four different ingredients to make 380 gallons of solvent-based paint. Pulsair™ increased the batch amount by 40 gallons and reduced the process time by five hours.
Gloss enamel
With a damaged 55-gallon drum a customer needed to mix gloss enamel however standard mixing equipment could not be used because the drum was damaged. Pulsair™ mixed the contents completely within one minute.
Polyurethane solids
Pulsair™ rolled the polyurethane solids on the bottom of a 55-gallon drum within two minutes without removing the drum lid.
Barrier coating
Current methods of mixing tint base into a 55-gallon drum of barrier coating involve removing the drum lid and takes 20 minutes. Pulsair™ completes the tint in less than two minutes without removing the drum lid.
Water based paint
Pulsair™ mixed 55 gallons of water base paint with a powder additive in less than two minutes. Time was saved by adding the powder first and starting the mix as soon as the accumulator plates were covered.
